Avant - A Review Of The Personal Development & Network Marketing Company

Avant is a personal development company and income opportunity founded in 2010. This article will provide an overview of the company, the products, and the compensation plan.

Avant is owned and led by Brent Payne, former founder of Liberty League International. For those not familiar with that company, Liberty League was a highly successful network marketing and personal development company that Brent started with a co-founder.

After choosing to follow other interests, Brent Payne sold his interests in Liberty League to his partner, Shane Krider in 2009. (Krider subsequently discontinued all the existing products, remodeled the pay plan to a standard MLM pay plan and changed the company name to Polaris Media Group and then again later to Polaris Global Marketing.)

It comes as no surprise that, after more than a year out of the industry, Brent chose to create a new company with a new vision.

THE COMPANY

The name of the company is "AVANT" which means "forward". The vision of the company is to assist people in creating accelerated, positive growth in any area of their life by providing products and a community for education and support.

AVANT'S PRODUCT LINE

Avant offers three primary products: the Elevate home study course, the Transform 3-day conference and the Transform 4-day conference.

ELEVATE is a 72-day home study personal development course that includes a DVD/CD set, a study guide, journaling system, coaching calls and an online curriculum. The course carries a 72-day money back guarantee that's backed by the company (no chargebacks to the distributor who makes the sale). This is a vast improvement over other companies who historically offer the minimum guarantee required by law.

The TRANSFORM conference is a 3-day event held at various exotic locations around the world. The event personal development speakers and trainers who assist the attendee in discovering success principles that allow them to return home with a greater understanding of how to create positive change in their lives.

The TRANSCEND conference is a 4-day event. It's built on the foundational teachings found in Elevate and Transform and offers breakout sessions, experiential learning techniques, physical challenges (optional), etc.

(Note: all conference tickets are good for two adults and include hotel accommodations at the event location as well as several meals. This is a departure from other personal development companies who offer event tickets that are not inclusive of on-site expenses.)

AVANT COMPENSATION PLAN

Avant's compensation plan is another departure from what one normally sees in a top-tier business opportunity. While many companies require a distributor to "pass up" two or more sales in order to qualify to earn profits, Avant's pay plan does not require this.

Additionally, Avant's business opportunity is for the person who has a larger income in mind. With so many opportunities in network marketing that are "geared" toward earning a few hundred dollars a month for the first year, Avant offers a pay plan where the minimum commission earned is $1,000; so even with a small amount of activity, a new associate can earn an annualized $30,000 to $50,000 beginning in their first month.

In order to qualify for commissions, a new distributor with Avant can qualify to earn profits by completing one retail sale (which may also be satisfied by purchasing the product themselves). In this way, a new distributor can earn the full $1,000 profit on their very first customer without having to pass up any profits to their enroller or uplink.

Also unlike similar pay plans, the Transform and Transcend product levels no longer require any "training sales". In older pay plans, one had to wait for four sales to be completed in their Advisor's team in order to be qualified to earn profits on conference tickets. With Avant, a distributor qualifies to earn the $5,000 and $10,000 profits (respectively) by completing one retail sale of each.

A NEW TWIST

One new aspect that Avant has created is the ability to earn a percentage of every sale happening in one's 4-level organization. Commissions range from $50 each for each Elevate sale in their team; $250 for each Transform sale in their team; and $500 for each Transcend sale.

These types of residual commissions are normally reserved for MLM companies where distributors are on "autoship" to buy products every month. Avant has no autoship requirements, volume requirements or sales quotas.

This creates an unusual situation in "top-tier" marketing where a person can earn a large income right away....and still build a long-term, "walkaway" residual income for the future.
